Warm. Elevated. Inviting. Mitchie Matcha is a Vancouver-based café that harmonizes the bold and delicate, creating a brand that balances modern aesthetics with an earthy, welcoming feel. The vision was clear: craft a brand identity that felt soft yet timeless, with just the right mix of elegance and approachability.

Our role at Studio One Eighty went beyond visual design, we delved into in-depth competitive research and target audience analysis to build a brand strategy that would set Mitchie Matcha apart. We combined bold, clean typography with a warm, organic colour palette to reflect the café’s vision. Inspired by a photo of Michelle’s dog, we created a hand-drawn brand mark that adds a playful yet refined touch, capturing the café’s personality in a way that feels authentic and cohesive.

The final brand identity is a seamless blend of sophisticated and inviting – an identity that tells the story of Mitchie Matcha at a glance and positions it as a go-to destination for matcha lovers seeking a unique experience.
